Financial Abuse

I left my ex-husband 5 years and 5 months ago. I recently thought about it and we have been in court for 4 years and 11 months in seperate issues. He is the one that keeps filing, but he is the one that is also screwing up and not doing what he is supposed to.

I have 37 counts of civil contempt and 3 counts of criminal contempt pending against him currently.

He is using the court system to bankrupt me, which he is close to suceeding.

I want to file for some kind of Financial Abuse. There is a documented history of Physical Abuse that he exposed me and my kids too. I was just wondering if anyone has had any success. We are close to 100K in attorney's fees, and I didn't have money to begin with. I walked away with hardly anything from the divorce except my personal belongings, custody of the kids, and less than 30K out of the house which all ended up in the attorney's bank account.

Any advice?

What is the purpose of the site?

I'm new here. I see a lot of women posting about their bad ex's, but is that the point of the site? I guess it can't hurt to allow it... to a point? It's just that everywhere else is already dominated and catering to the female divorcee already on the internet. (:\)
