It does hurt a bit for some people although for others it actually doesnt hurt at all. Also, if you have a caring boyfriend who loves you then he will take his time until you're ready for fooling around or having sex. If he is in a rush and won't make sure that you're ready and aroused enough for it then he is not the right person for you to lose it to. I do not believe in waiting until marriage but I do think that it is important to be sure that it is what you want. If you are ready for that step, know that you are aroused and comfortable with your boyfriend (or husband if that is what you believe) then the pain won't matter.
